Philosophy of Proportion
The building blocks of nature follow a universal, mathematical measurement called, “The Golden Ratio.” This pattern is found in everything from seashells to stars. We, too, are living beings designed to this ratio of symmetry. We exist in systems shaped by proportional numerical relationships.
We design from this philosophy as a direct lesson from the nature around us. Our bodies are natural, made to be lived in fully as our home.
The Meridian Wand is inspired by these principles. Its length is based on the proportions of your own body, echoing the mathematical studies of Leonardo da Vinci. As seen in his Vitruvian Man, the span from the elbow to the tips of the fingers is roughly one-fourth the height of the human body, a measure that also corresponds to the width of the chest, historically called a “Cubit.”
This particular 1/4-body-length measurement provides both the reach and leverage needed for self-acupressure and bodywork. It allows the wand to act as a true extension of your form. It provides optimal pressure, comfort, and control. The Meridian Wand is a tool based on these principles and explorations. Built to your proportion — it’s your simple, perfect tool for embodied exploration of your vessel.
